Transfer Station & Recycling Center
The Transfer Station and Recycling Center is located at:
3705 Route 34 (southwest of Town Office Buildings) Scipio Center, NY 13147
Hours
Starting in September, the Wednesday hours are from 5pm-7pm. The year-round Saturday hours are 9am-4pm.
Year round: Saturday 9 am to 4 pm
May - August: Wednesday 5 pm-8 pm
September: Wednesday 5 pm-7 pm
These services are for residents of the Town of Scipio only.
Please flatten your cardboard and plastic containers before recycling.

Town Clean Up Day
Town of Scipio residents can bring their trash free of charge to the town’s transfer station.

Household Refuse
Household refuse must be bagged and tagged with stickers available at the Transfer Station or Town Office. Effective July 1, 2024, the cost is now $4.00 per sticker, $20.00 for a sheet of 5 stickers
